Vitra to Release a Re-Edition of the Eames Coffee Table
A classic piece of designer furniture.

In 1949, legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames created a coffee table for their own residence — the Eames house in Pacific Palisades. The table was made to be unique with an impression of simplicity while still airing an aura of luxury. Now, Vitra is releasing the re-edition of the Eames Coffee Table, made to evoke the spirit of an early one-off piece. Constructed of quality materials, the coffee table is both a product of function and a feat of design. It will be available in either a square or rectangular table top made of palisander veneer, marble or solid American walnut. Its base will comprise of black wooden legs with metal cross-struts. Check out Vitra for more information, and keep an eye out for the piece this August.
