Saucony Drops a Shadow 6000 Inspired by the Beauty of the Great Outdoors
One for the nature-lovers.

Saucony’s latest collaboration with UWS sneaker boutique West NYC is a take on the former’s Shadow 6000 silhouette imbued with materials, colors, and textures that pay tribute to the beauty of the great outdoors, dubbed the “Clean Water.” The natural color palette features earth-tones provided by two different shades of brown leather, oiled suede and tumbled nubuck. These rich, darker hues play off the upper’s white perforated leather toe and sides for a contrasting look. The hits of bright aqua round out the kick’s color scheme.
Additional design details include the use of grip tape on the shoes toe, heel and logo to emulate the ‘no skid’ surfaces found on fishing boats, while the insole is produced from the same cork one might find around the handle of a fishing rod.
These make the perfect pair of kicks for the outdoorsman. The collaborative kicks drop on April 9 and will retail for $155 USD.
