Japanese label sacai unveils a new campaign for the spring/summer season. Highlighting designer Chitose Abe’s willingness to experiment, the brand’s seasonal menswear range draws inspiration from the iconic Paradise Garage discotheque in New York City, a melting pot for dance and pop music enthusiasts from all cultures. Though select pieces directly reference the nightclub with its logo, Abe utilizes clashing textures and patterns as an homage to the venue known as a “hybrid for all periods and places and genders.” Encompassing everything from tailored pieces to grungy garb, check out sacai’s Spring/Summer 2016 campaign above and purchase any items from the brand’s Tokyo location and select retailers across the globe.
