Having already broken into the year with an impressive 2016 spring/summer collection, Norse Projects has just announced its latest footwear collaboration with heritage British label Dr. Martens. Embodying the rebellious, subculture identity of Dr. Martens and the polished aesthetic often associated with Norse Projects, the collaboration sees the duo offering its iteration on a classic, 3-Eye Steed silhouette. Referencing Norse Projects’ affinity for technical materials, the shoes feature a water repellent suede upper and the addition of a padded, nylon ripstop tongue. Retaining certain traditional elements, each pair of shoes gazettes an Air Wair tooling system, tonal Goodyear welting, and a highly supportive, air-cushioned sole. The exclusive Norse Projects x Dr. Martens footwear collaboration will be made available in both men’s and women’s sizing and is scheduled to launch online and at Norse Store from April 29, 10 a.m. CET.
