As the capstone to Nike’s “Fade to Black” sneaker collection in honor of Kobe Bryant’s storied 20-year basketball career, the Nike Kobe 11 FTB “Black Mamba” is the last in the series to release, fittingly on the night of Kobe’s last match between the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz. Featuring a simple black Flyknit upper, tonal leather is applied to the tongue, heel counter and pull tab, while a solemn golden Swoosh commands the design. Kobe’s logo is embroidered on the left heel, whilst today’s date, “4.13.16,” receives a similar treatment on the right heel. The Kobe 11 FTB “Black Mamba” is now retailing for $200 USD through The Draw on Nike’s SNKRS app.
