A little over four years later, the revolutionary manufacturing method continues to push the boundaries of performance footwear while also reducing manufacturing waste, resulting in featherweight, form-fitting, seamless and sustainable uppers with a variety of sport-specific benefits. In celebration of Flyknit’s fourth birthday, Nike recently released an illustrated history of its cutting-edge innovation — charting its conceptual evolution from silhouettes like the Air Presto and Sock Dart, to its current application in designs like the LunarEpic Flyknit.
