A Look Inside MYKITA's New Georgetown Flagship
The Berlin-based eyewear label comes to one of D.C.’s most historic neighborhoods.

Washington, D.C.’s Georgetown neighborhood is undoubtedly the go-to for shopping in the nation’s capital and now Berlin-based eyewear label MYKITA has set up shop in the area. Just the imprint’s second American flagship and first outside New York City, MYKITA’s Georgetown flagship echoes the look of the showroom at its Berlin headquarters and is the perfect retail take on German minimalism: brightly-lit stark white walls and matching fixtures stand in contrast to the wooden floors and highlight virtually every MYKITA style under the sun.
The Georgetown outpost opened its doors April 11 and is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
