'Gears of War 4' Introduces a New Hero & A Nightmare Reborn
The game now has an official release date, too.
After making its debut way back at last year’s E3, The Coalition’s Gears of War 4 is finally on tap for a release this fall and, to celebrate the announcement, the developer has dropped a brand new cinematic trailer for the shooter. Dubbed “Tomorrow,” the game’s first story trailer is the tale of two different tomorrows: the world without war that Marcus Fenix envisioned at the end of Gears of War 3 and the one that actually exists 25 years later as the Locust return to wreak havoc. The dark minute-long piece also introduces us to the game’s protagonist: Fenix’s son, JD.
Gears of War 4 will hit Xbox One October 11 while an early access multiplayer beta is set to open this month. For full details on the beta, head on over to the Gears of War website.
