Seattle-based Terry Heckler has long been at the forefront of design, having created countless logos and advertisements for seemingly every brand under the sun. But long before his renowned Heckler Associates was one of the top advertising agencies out there, Heckler was putting his stamp on one of the most iconic brands in the world: New Balance. The designer of the New Balance five point logo, Heckler recounts above how he linked up with owner Jim Davis and sheds light on the original inspiration behind New Balance’s design ethos and the continuity of the brand’s footwear from the ’70s to today.
