The New Balance 998 has seen some of the brand’s most luxurious silhouettes yet, and this Grey/Brown iteration of its premium ‘Made in USA’ range is no different. Featuring a predominantly suede upper in an earthy shade of grey, the sneaker sports hits of twill on the toe box and generous applications of plush leather on the tongue, lateral branding, and on the heel tab. The New Balance wordmark has been embossed onto the tongue, as has its ‘NB’ logo on the heel tab for a more elevated look, while the serif font of the branding on the insole adds the final garnish.
