'NeoWave' Posters Bring Back Retro Sci-Fi Art
Artist James White resurrects the genre with updated forms.

Artist James White has released a series of posters titled “NeoWave” which harks back to psychedelic art from the ’70s and ’80s, with a twist of his own modern interpretation. White explained to The Creators Project, “I’ve always been a fan of science fiction illustrators from the past. Guys like Moebius and Roger Dean who created wild, colorful landscapes full of strange and abstract architecture.” With mystical illustrations including neon skies to floating prisms, along with the use of saturated colors, White creates a retrofuturistic landscape where humans are engulfed by their surroundings. The glicee prints measure 12” x 12” and can be pre-ordered now through the artist’s website.
