Bodega Partners With Fred Perry for a Punk-Inspired Release
An homage to the undying subculture.

Boston boutique Bodega has linked up with classic British label Fred Perry for a novel look at the intersection of punk and streetwear with their “New Establishment” collection. Taking the subculture’s distinctive “codes, rituals, and signifiers,” the collaboration applies the spirit of punk to the canvas of streetwear, resulting in a three-piece capsule that makes use of punk’s combative use of military surplus in the olive parka, wild leopard prints subtly applied to the lining of the sneakers, and a slogan daubed shirt. London-based director Chris Read was also tapped to create an accompanying video that explores the British capital’s brutalist spaces to communicate “punk’s transition from ‘no future’ to dystopian future.”
Limited to 100 pieces per item, look for the Bodega x Fred Perry “New Establishment” collection to drop in-store and online at Bodega on March 12.
