Conceived along the three pillars of design, utility and technology, Yosuke Aizawa’s White Mountaineering collaboration with adidas Originals is the purest expression of the nexus of function and fashion to date. Utilizing futuristic cuts and high-tech fabrics such as GORE-TEX and cotton-nylon blends, the collection consists of essential pieces ranging from T-shirts and sweat pants to windbreakers and parkas that feature unique panel construction and muted tonal designs. Meanwhile, the footwear is a fresh interpretation of classic adidas models with reengineered soles and performance-oriented materials. The adidas Originals by White Mountaineering 2016 spring/summer collection will be divided into two drops on February 26 and April 9 respectively at select adidas Originals retailers worldwide.
