BEAMS and Vans Celebrate Their Respective Anniversaries with a Collaboration

Japanese retailer BEAMS and footwear mainstay Vans team up for an anniversary collaboration marking their 40th and 50th years in the business respectively. The two have decided to use the iconic Era silhouette as a canvas, rendering it in a dark blue colorway across its upper, while the lacing, vulcanized sole and leather overlays are treated in white. BEAMS’ signature color of orange adorns the heel tab and dual branding its seen across the insole. Accompanying the shoe release is a figurine of Steve Van Doren, whose father was the founder of the now legendary shoe company. Look to purchase the BEAMS x Vans anniversary collaboration in April for ¥12,960 JPY (approximately $116 USD).
