Nike Brings Back the "MPLS" Air Huarache 2K4
This time with “University Blue” accents.

The Air Huarache 2K4 may not officially be a part of Kobe Bryant’s signature line at Nike, but it might as well be. Originally released in 2004 and worn by Kobe along with the Lakers’ matching Minneapolis throwbacks, Nike’s “Wolf Grey” take on the Black Mamba-associated silhouette is back — this time with a more Tar Heels-esque look. Ditching the “Chlorine Blue” accents of the original in favor of a more Carolina-like “University Blue,” the retro release otherwise stays true to form as it couples a synthetic grey upper with a neoprene bootie, matching ankle strap, molded heel counter, and a dash of white.
Expect these to land soon at select Nike Sportswear spots for $150 USD.
