Leonardo DiCaprio Has Finally Won an Oscar
He’s done it.
The wait is finally over and Leonardo DiCaprio has finally claimed a Best Actor in a Leading Role Oscar at this evening’s 88th Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood. After a long and varied career, several nominations and false dawns, the 41-year-old took the honor for his performance in The Revenant. Thanking The Academy, directors and actors who have helped him across a triumphant career, DiCaprio also used his speech to make a point about climate change and to petition world leaders to take it seriously.
