Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire
A translucent timepiece crafted in sapphire crystal.

A translucent Hublot?! That’s exactly what we have from Hublot ahead of Baselworld as the Swiss watchmaker drums up some hype for its March presentation with the Big Bang Unico Sapphire. An automatic flyback chronograph, the insane design employs a 45mm case made entirely from sapphire crystal — meaning it’s completely scratch-resistant and nearly as hard as a diamond. Case aside, titanium handles the rest of the construction throughout while a skeletonized dial of transparent resin boasts Hublot’s in-house Unico HUB1242 flyback chronograph movement. Last but not least, the look is aptly capped off with a clear strap.
Limited to just 500 pieces, the sapphire design is available at Hublot dealers now for $57,900 USD.
