Canon Introduces the PowerShot G7 X Mark II
Canon’s PowerShot G7 X gets a second-gen update.

Both the GX 5 and GX 9 debuted late last year and now Canon is venturing in between the two to update 2014’s GX 7. Building on the groundwork laid out by its predecessor, the PowerShot G7 X Mark II keeps a lot of the original point-and-shoot’s specs intact — a 20.1MP 1” CMOS sensor, 4.2x optical zoom 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8 lens, 3-inch tilting LCD touchscreen, built-in Wi-Fi with NFC and full HD 1080p video recording at 60 fps are all present. The biggest addition here, however, is a redesigned exterior and the first-ever inclusion of Canon’s new DIGIC 7 image processor — meaning faster speeds, better low-light performance and less noise.
The latest addition to the PowerShot range launches March 15 for $700 USD.
