Charlie Hunnam Embarks on a Treacherous Journey to Find 'The Lost City of Z'

Amazon Studios has unveiled the official teaser trailer for The Lost City of Z starring Pacific Rim actor, Charlie Hunnam. Based on David Grann’s acclaimed non-fiction novel of the same name, the motion picture showcases the real life story of British discoverer Percy Fawcett who embarks on a dangerous excursion in the Amazon rainforest to find an uncharted civilization. The one-minute clip features Hunnam as Fawcett traveling deep into the South American wild despite being cautioned of the “terrible disease, murders and savages” that may abound.

The film is helmed by American filmmaker James Gray and will also feature supporting actors Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland and actress Sienna Miller. Watch the official teaser above and expect the movie to hit theaters stateside on April 21.
