Nike Reveals a New "Stop Sign"-Inspired Cortez
“The Tradition Never Stops.”
Nike’s latest special edition shoe builds on the classic Cortez silhouette. Taking design cues from what seems like the red stop signs we see on streets, this new version of the Cortez features a white nylon upper, off-white roughed out leather accents along the lace guard and heel counter, a premium light grey suede Swoosh, and a matching red Nike “stop sign” graphic on the heel tab. On the inside of each tongue you will find the words, “The Tradition Never Stops,” giving some context to the “stop sign” motif. Retailing for £65 GBP (approximately $82 USD), the Nike Cortez “Stop Sign” is available online and in stores.
