Extra Butter's "For the People" Saucony Collab Has a "Friends and Family" Edition
Only 200 pairs will be doled out.
Earlier this year, New York-based label Extra Butter teamed up with Saucony to release a Shadow 5000 collaboration in a light blue colorway with red and silver accents. The sneaker was picked by the public through an IG voting process and drew inspiration from classic cars and thus was given the moniker “For the People.” We now know that in addition to the public release, Extra Butter also made a limited 200 run “Friends and Family” version of the sneaker. Drawing inspiration from classic movie drive-in cars of the past, this alternate version features shades of tan, cream, and off-white with red stitching and sock lining. Coupled with a custom branded fuzzy dice tongue tab, this detail-oriented pair is finished off with stitched Extra Butter branding on the heel and a custom insole.
