adidas Originals Gears up for Lunar New Year With a Detailed "CNY" Pack
Celebrating the Year of the Rooster with Superstars, EQT 93/16 BOOST and Stan Smiths.
Fresh off a Chinese New Year UltraBOOST release today, adidas is further adding to its Lunar New Year celebratory arsenal of silhouettes with pairs of adidas Originals Superstars, Stan Smiths and the EQT 93/16 BOOST. The Year of the Rooster, which will be celebrated worldwide on January 28, 2017, makes its mark felt in timeless tradition on this pack.
All the kicks in the pack will come with mahjong-detailed insoles as well as a rooster hang tile in honor of the holiday. The EQT 93/16 will be adorned in tan while all the other models are covered in black uppers with white soles. The Stan Smiths and Superstars will feature a prominent rooster embroidered on the back outer heel section and sport feather-like textures on the rear heel tab and Three Stripes.
You can expect these to start hitting shelves at adidas stores on January 4.
