Human Habit Layers 3-D Collage Graphics in Its 2016 Fall/Winter Collection
Printed with cutting edge digital and plastisol techniques.
With strong attention paid to both graphic design and cut, Human Habit has created a collection of tops and outerwear using bold imagery and contemporary fits. The line’s silhouettes demonstrate Human Habit’s grasp of today’s trends, with oversized boxy cuts and cropped styles with elongated sleeves. Using a color palette that resides in the greyscale spectrum, the brand’s digital and plastisol printing techniques are front and center with sweatshirts and T-shirts that fuse linear, geometric patterns together with pixelated renderings and illustrations. The outcomes are collage compositions (some of which use appliqué and embroidery for a three-dimensional look) with each of the elements making a statement against a clean base. Textile choice amplifies the visuals with fabrics like smooth neoprene and textured fleece/nylon blends.
