uniform experiment & Alpha Industries Bring Forth a Slimmed-Down MA-1 Jacket
And it’s reversible too.

The iconic MA-1 flight jacket has seen countless of material and color makeovers since streetwear first adopted it as a staple item. Some unique variations in recent memory include an elongated version by monkey time, Marcelo Burlon’s bespoke patchwork alteration, not to mention a plush leather release conjured up by the subjects of this latest collaboration. Now, uniform experiment and Alpha Industries have returned to introduce a slimmed-down version of the jacket, which is known for its oversized and puffy cut. A stylish dark grey color scheme emphasizes the sleek qualities even more, while additional U.E. branding in form of stars and stripes, patchwork and embroidery give the toned-down design some additional flair. The jacket will release just in time for the new year on December 31 at SOPHNET. locations and online on January 4, for a price of ¥68,000 JPY (approximately $578 USD).
