NikeLab's 2016 GYAKUSOU Collection Channels Jun Takahashi's Love for Running

Nike and Jun Takahashi will continue its strong relationship with a forthcoming GYAKUSOU offering. The sport of running continues to be a strong building block of each yearly offering while subtracting excess materials in order to provide the perfect run session. This year’s range places emphasis on the relationship between running and travel with packable pieces. The importance of running to Takahashi is discussed as he expresses “Running is my biggest source of creativity. It makes sense that I create apparel and footwear to support my running, which I dedicate time to everyday. I don’t know why, but I’ve always had a strong desire to express my feelings through apparel.”
In addition to Jun’s fondness of the sport he makes sure to emphasize the importance of 2016’s Gyakusou detailing and adjustability to various weather conditions. As a result, Takahashi has incorporated a brand new Quickburst Zipper along with removable sleeves for different occasions. You’ll also find slits for packability and convenience.
The 2016 Holiday NikeLab GYAKUSOU offering will launch on November 10 online in addition to select NikeLab locations.
