With the release of lil aaron’s debut project GLOING PAIN$, the Indiana native’s ability to slip and slide out of normative fences gets put on full display. Channelling the likes of Blink-182 on “Drugs,” aaron delivers a collision of heavy-distortion rock and rap influences. Enlisting longtime collaborators Y2K, Judge and Dylan Brady on production, the seven-track album has no vocal features and is a testament to the LA-based creative’s capacities as a standalone artist.
