Shaquille O’Neal and Kendrick Lamar are featured in American Express’ latest commercial series. Filmed in Los Angeles soap shop Soaptopia, the comedy clips find the NBA legend and Compton rapper bonding over funny artisanal soap names. The advertisements are for American Express and are intended to sell the brand’s “Shop Small” campaign, which calls for people to support small businesses. “Luscious Lamar Bar” and “Shea Butter Shaq” are actually based on real soaps that you can purchase at Soaptopia.
