Converse Gives the One Star a Utilitarian Upgrade
Classic design meets technical utility.

Converse’s One Star is getting a major upgrade this season with the introduction of a tech-heavy makeover for Fall/Winter 2016. Aptly dubbed the One Star ‘74 Tech, the new design takes 1974’s version of the star-branded low-top and imbues it with some technical utility. The result is a design that fuses the old school with the new school and one that’s water-repellant to boot. The shoe even employs reflective stars along with Nike’s Lunarlon cushioning, as well as a buckle closure system to add to the utilitarian aesthetic.
The One Star ‘74 Tech drops in two different colorways at Converse spots, converse.com, and exclusively at Bodega in Boston this Friday, November 18.
