Designer Samuel Ross Talks About the Roots of His Label A-COLD-WALL*

Recently A-COLD-WALL* designer Samuel Ross launched his label at Barneys, and to celebrate the American luxury retailer sat down to talk to Ross about his label. In the Q&A, Ross discusses his trajectory stating, “I feel like I’ve had multiple lives” and how he believes ACW* is rooted distinctly in British street culture. He goes on to note that the point of his label was to introduce a new narrative of British culture that hasn’t been shown, exposing the effect of the class system in the UK that has created the high/low phenomenon.
