Nike’s own Air Foamposite One silhouette will be commemorating its 20th anniversary in 2017. The futuristic basketball model was initially seen on the feet of Mike Bibby during his playing days at the University of Arizona and surged to popularity during and after the career of Penny Hardaway who made himself a household name while playing with the Orlando Magic.

Fast forward to 2016, and the Nike Air Foamposite One has had a love/hate relationship among sneakerheads thanks to its myriad of themed color schemes. Nonetheless, Foamposite lovers will be provided with a sense of nostalgia as its OG Dark Neon Royal colorway will be returning. Staying true to its classic look, you’ll find its Foamposite upper resting atop an icy outsole. Additionally, a carbon fiber plate makes its way to the middle of its sole unit as well as Penny Hardaway’s “1 Cent” branding found on the tongue and heel.

The Nike Air Foamposite One’s Dark neon Royal colorway is expected to hit shelves in January of 2017 and will retail for $230 USD.
