The latest Air Jordan XXXI “Shattered Backboard” have been released and an interesting piece of memorabilia has just surfaced. It seems the original pair of “Chicago” Air Jordan 1s worn by Michael Jordan when he brought down the backboard in Italy have reappeared. According to Jordan source j23app, these are in fact the actual pair, but it’s hard to believe whether or not they are, considering this is the first time news of the shoes still being in existence has occurred. The shoe even has a slit on the sole where the piece of glass supposedly punctured it. Could it just be Nike‘s attempt to manufacture history for retail success? Take a look and let us know what you think.
