Los Angeles’s rapid pace and dazzling nighttime scene are brilliantly captured in this panoramic hyperlapse video, shot by photographer and filmmaker Joe Capra, aka Scientifantastic. Comprised of two years of footage, Capra used two synched DSLR cameras, a custom rig and Ramper Pro to achieve a true panoramic form, produced in HD quality. Iconic locations such as Chris Burden’s LACMA lights, the scenic Griffith Observatory, historic Venice Canals and the ritzy Rodeo Drive are just a few of the places that can be viewed, along with LA’s paramount vehicles which weave in and out of nearly every frame. Experience the city’s vivid landscape through the fast-paced clip above and see more of Capra’s works on Vimeo.
