Just hours ago, we were given the first official look at Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character in James Mangold’s anticipated Logan film. Fervor surrounding the third installment is further heightened with this newly unveiled first trailer. Set against Johnny Cash’s cover of “Hurt,” the nearly two-minute clip is saturnine albeit nail-biting due to its slew of action sequences that spotlight a grizzly Logan and a hoary Professor X. Viewers are also introduced to a young girl—played by actress Dafne Keen—who presumably has the same mutant abilities as the animal-keen protagonist.
