Check out United Nude's Polygonal Car Based on the Lamborghini Countach
The latest in the Dutch brand’s Lo Res series.
Dutch footwear brand and design studio United Nude‘s latest installment in its Lo Res series is an abstract concept car based on the Lamborghini Countach. The vehicle’s polygonal silhouette came from lowering the 3D resolution of Marcelo Gandini’s original design. The two-seater, with the passenger sitting directly behind the driver, has no doors; the entire matte black poly-carbonate chassis serves as both door and window that raises and lowers on electric lifts, giving the car’s minimal interior a capsule-like feel. The vehicle has a hexagonal steering wheel and an electric engine, with a top speed of 50 km/h, for safety reasons. The car is being shipped to Los Angeles soon for exhibition, so if you live on the West Coast you should keep an eye out for a polygon parked on Rodeo Drive.
