Peter Dundas Debuts His First Menswear Collection With Roberto Cavalli
Following the designer’s return to the fashion house after a 9-year absence.

Following last year’s confirmation that Peter Dundas would be leaving Emilio Pucci and returning to Roberto Cavalli, the Norwegian designer has finally debuted his premier menswear collection with the Italian fashion house. Recently opening for the Milan shows, the latest range was unveiled under the title of “Real Opulence.” Already seeing a retro-inspired 2016 spring/summer collection from Gucci, the nostalgic aesthetic continues with Cavalli’s Fall/Winter 2016 offering of bohemian pieces influenced by the unkempt allure of 1970s rock stars. Highlights in the collection include flared pants, Fair Isle knits, vibrant chiffon blouses, print-heavy scarves and intricately embellished denim. As a homecoming of sorts for Dundas, who resided at Roberto Cavalli from 2002 to 2005, we can expect to see plenty more lavish collections from the designer who has established a distinct style steeped with glamour.
