Rumors have been confirmed and Peter Dundas is leaving Emilio Pucci for another Italian mainstay, Roberto Cavalli. The Norwegian designer has been the creative director for Emilio Pucci for seven years, but held a position at Roberto Cavalli between 2002 to 2005. According to the designer, “This is a homecoming for me, it is an honor for me to continue to evolve the wonderful world of Roberto Cavalli.” Dundas is known for his opulent and glamorous designs, which perfectly align with the Cavalli brand. Roberto and Eva Cavalli are in complete support, saying “the choice of Peter Dundas was made with the desire to evolve a style that combines glamour, tradition and innovation, recognized worldwide as the signature of Cavalli since the birth of the house.” Stay tuned to see what the designer brings for his first collection this fall.
