IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch Annual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince”
An ode to the little prince in horological form.
Due to be unveiled at SIHH 2016 as part of its 20-strong Pilot’s Collection, IWC Schaffhausen provides a preview of its Big Pilot’s Watch Annual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” here. Paying tribute to the two worlds of aviation and writing, technology and poetry that Le Petit Prince author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry dedicated his life to, the timepiece features a solid gold rotor on the back crystal that displays the eponymous little prince standing on his asteroid and gazing towards the stars. A tobacco brown dial and a calfskin strap with cream-colored ornamental seams, meanwhile, are a nod to Saint-Exupéry’s flying suit. Look for the IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch Annual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” to be unveiled at Geneva on January 18.
