As a more unconventional addition to Medicom Toy’s wide selection of collaborative Bearbrick designs, the famed Japanese toy house has come together with American rock band Grateful Dead on a 100% and 1000% “Dancing Bears” edition. Paying homage to Bob Thomas’ original design that appeared on the reverse of the band’s History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice) album. Rendered in a series of banded colors running throughout its design, the “Dancing Bears” Bearbricks are now available from Medicom Toy for ¥1,600 JPY (approximately $14 USD) and ¥36,000 JPY (approximately $307 USD) respectively.
