Coachella Is Coming to New York City
Governor’s Ball was unable to stop it.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, California’s popular music festival, will be coming to New York City. According to a report from Billboard, AEG’s Goldenvoice will be launching its Panorama festival this July on NYC’s Randall’s Island, and is billed as “three days of music, art, technology, and local food offerings.” The producer for Goldenvoice, Mark Shulman, states: “We look forward to bringing Panorama to New York City and introducing a new festival that showcases today’s top music acts. We’re committed to creating an event that will provide significant benefits to New York City with the level of experience and meticulous attention to detail for which Goldenvoice is known.”
Governors Ball, NYC’s other major festival, had previously launched a petition to reject Panorama fearing that it would have an affect their ticket sales. Learn more about the story here.
