New York-based womenswear label ALYX is the subject of 032c magazine’s latest editorial, titled “A Rose By Any Other Name.” Founded by photographer and creative director-turned-designer, Matthew Williams, ALYX is described as “a foundation built on the undercurrent” and incorporates influences from a range of global subcultures into its designs. Being only the label’s second collection, the ensembles here play with shiny and matte finishes, drawing from both streetwear and nightlife for a subversive aesthetic.
