Fresh from a private showing of its Spring/Summer 2016 collection is visvim’s updated FBT moccasin-sneaker hybrid. Maintaining the overall aesthetic, director Hiroki Nakamura decided to give the top-selling shoe an overhaul in the form of a brand-new sole, which now features a Vibram outsole made specifically for this model. Also modified is a new fabric-infused midsole section, visible on both lateral and medial sides, embroidery-reinforcement details towards the toe box, and a new glossy polyurethane heel stabilizer peeking out from underneath the fringe. The improvements bring forth a new realm of comfort and versatility, while maintaining the moc’s lightweight feel and signature look. With an initial release in Dk. Brown, Brown, Dirt and Black, be on the lookout for these to drop some time next year along with the Spring/Summer 2016 collection of items.
