The ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer GORE-TEX “Navy” receives our closer inspection here following its announcement. Rendered in a waterproof, yet breathable GORE-TEX fabric and nylon upper paired with tonal suede paneling, the retro runner is finished off with a lace support structure and heel cage in matching color, replete with a diamond-patterned footbed, embossed leather tongue tags and GORE-TEX labels. Look for the navy colorway to arrive in U.S., European and Asia-Pacific retailers respectively in the coming weeks, while the red colorway will only be available in Europe.
