This Air Jordan Will Release for the First Time in 15 Years
The Air Jordan 14 “Varsity Royal,” aka “Laney,” is back!
Initially released back in June of 1999, the Air Jordan 14 Retro in Varsity Royal is making its return 15 years later. The AJ14 was the first signature sneaker to release after Michael Jordan’s second retirement, and features design elements inspired by the luxury supercar Ferrari 550 M. This particular iteration features a color combination that pays homage to MJ’s high school, Emsley A. Laney High, with a varsity royal and black nubuck upper, and subtle yellow detailing throughout. This model will release at select stockists as well as Nike.com on October 3.
