Earlier this summer, a feminist organization called Collective Shout attempted to ban Tyler, The Creator from performing in Australia. As a result, Tyler and his touring management decided to cancel the Australian tour altogether. Recently, he took to Twitter to announce that he’s also canceling several UK and Ireland dates — including his sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals. In the tweet, the reason he gives for this is vague — the cancelation is “due to circumstances.” There is currently no word on whether or not refunds or rescheduling will happen; read his tweet below and share your thoughts.
DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES I WONT BE PLAYING READING, LEEDS, BELFEST AND OTHER SHOWS IN THE UK. SUCKS AND IM SORRY. I LOVE YOU, SAVE THE HORSES -T
