For 40 years, Penfield has represented an elite standard of utility, strength and durability in the American workwear canon. The brand – originally founded in Massachusetts in 1975 – is in the midst of celebrating its 40th anniversary, and has released a new lookbook to kick off the celebrations. The collection is comprised of classic silhouettes such as sherpa-lined parkas, insulated anoraks, Fair Isle knit sweaters and T-shirts – all pieces that speak to Penfield’s utilitarian design language. To boot, Penfield has also hinted at a special commemorative capsule to be detailed later this year.
