Marc Newson x Montblanc "Montblanc M" Collection

First hinted at earlier this year, here we take a first look at the impressions on the collaboration between Marc Newson and luxury German toolmaker Montblanc. The body of the pen is crafted with black resin and milled through a traditional diamond tool. At the top, the cap (referred to as the “hood”) clasps on to the body through a magnetic clasp. As for the actual writing point: the gilded nib is finished in two tones of both rhodium and ruthenium, which is neatly inscribed with “MN” to signify the Australian designer’s work.
