Zayn Malik Reveals Reason He Left One Direction

Although concealed with a veneer, Zayn Malik‘s longtime displeasures of One Direction were well known amongst his fans. From his occasional apathetic input during interviews, to his missed promotional appearances, Malik had casted himself out of the popular boyband long before his announced departure. A Twitter announcement that he had recently signed to New York-based record label RCA, has also been used to reveal his reasons for leaving the band. Also, a short hashtag at the end may have also been a subtweet targeted at his former bandmates: “#realmusic.” The succinct message immediately follows news of his collaboration with Frank Ocean’s producer.
