adidas Originals has been partnering up with long-time collaborator Pharrell for the Supershell Sneakers project. Taking the iconic original design of the Superstar shelltoe sneakers, Pharrell recruited a few friends and fellow designers to incorporate their designs onto the Supershells. These include work by Todd James aka REAS, manga-illustrator Mr., photographer Cass Bird, and futurism architect Zaha Hadid. Watch Pharrell’s intro on the topic above, as well as a brief coverage of Todd James’ vision and work in this project below. The sneakers will drop on August 7.
