Nepenthes imprint Needles has released its latest lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2016 season, combining its Americana-inspired vintage aesthetic with the current trend of oversized, comfort-oriented garments. Featuring a range of loose-fitting single- and double-breasted suit jackets, satin finish overcoats, leather and denim jackets, as well as flared bottoms and an assortment of headwear and footwear, the collection at some points gives off a ’70s vibe inspired by the dress of Japan’s Yakuza gangs. Oversized, disco shirt collars and colored shades further cement the reference. Finished off with Needles’ signature patchwork detailing, look for the designs to drop in coming months from select retailers.
