What better way for a popular trap-rap trio to promote their debut studio album than to perform their hits with a fully-stocked, fully-tested orchestra. After linking up with a cadre of skilled musicians for live classical reworks of “Hannah Montana” and “Handsome & Wealthy,” Migos unite with the same group of practitioners for another round in their Audiomack-presented “Trap Symphony” series. This time around, “One Time” is the song selected for the symphonic treatment. Like the past entries in their recent series, this new spin on the music of Migos breathes new life into their sound. The “Trap Symphony” series does not seriously re-purpose past Migos hits for the genre of classical music, but it does show that the Quality Control trio have a lot more creativity than many give them credit for.
